Exhibitions and visits

On Friday I visited Score Scotland to run a workshop with the young people there. Here are some images of the fish and sea creatures we made.

Last week we also took down the Scars on the City exhibition which had been on display in Ocean Terminal. If you know of any venues which may be interested in hosting the exhibition in the future, do get in touch.

After opening the Proud City exhibition the previous week, on Wednesday I invited the Museums Alive volunteers to visit the exhibition at our planning meeting.  It was great to catch up with them and hear about their work at Oaklands Care Home. In the next block of sessions we will visit Clovenstone House Care Home.

If you would like to arrange a group visit to Proud City and would like more information about the project, I’m happy to meet groups and discuss my work. Please do contact me to discuss.

About edinburghmuseumsoutreach

I'm the Outreach & Access Manager at Edinburgh Museums & Galleries (the museums service of the City of Edinburgh Council). I take the museums out to community groups and schools. I really enjoy meeting lots of people of different ages and backgrounds and helping them connect with our collections. I love showing people some of the amazing objects that we hold and I like helping them to remember the past or to create something amazing.
