You can borrow these objects!

Today I wanted to let you know about our loan and reminiscence box service. We have a range of boxes of museum objects that can be borrowed by school or community groups for free!

These include a range of boxes for schools on topics such as the Victorians, toys, traditional games, World War II, world religions and many more.

We also have reminiscence boxes to bring back memories for older people’s groups. These look at topics such as childhood and going out in the past.

You can find out more here on our Learning page.

About edinburghmuseumsoutreach

I'm the Outreach & Access Manager at Edinburgh Museums & Galleries (the museums service of the City of Edinburgh Council). I take the museums out to community groups and schools. I really enjoy meeting lots of people of different ages and backgrounds and helping them connect with our collections. I love showing people some of the amazing objects that we hold and I like helping them to remember the past or to create something amazing.
